1) The Two Parts / 兩個組成

Every phrase = [Approximator] + [Reference amount]

A. Approximators (how close?) / 近似詞（接近程度）

• exactly = the precise figure ｜ 正好、正確（精確數字）

• about / around / roughly ≈ ±5% ｜ 大約／大概（±5%）

• close to ≈ ±2–3% ｜ 接近（可高可低，±2–3%）

• nearly / almost ≈ 1–3% under ｜ 將近／幾乎（略低 1–3%）

• just under ≈ 1–2% under ｜ 略低一點（1–2%）

✗ Do not stack approximators (e.g., “about nearly 50%”).｜ 近似詞勿重疊使用。

• (a) third ≈ 33⅓% (≈33%) ｜ 三分之一≈33%

• ratios 比例：one in three ≈33%、three out of four＝75%、two in five＝40%

• Be consistent: percent (US) / per cent (UK).｜ 美式/英式要一致。
